Against All Odds (Anthony Prince)
Born in 1984 in New York City, Anthony Prince is an acclaimed tattoo artist and entrepreneur. Prince’s early life was full of strife highly influenced to a life of crime as a juvenile which led him to imprisonment . At age 18, Prince was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison for Armed robbery. In prison, Prince was introduced to tattooing. Already a naturally talented drawer, he utilized those many years to hone his craft.
Upon being released in 2015, Prince immediately began tattooing, gaining a reputation as one of the best tattoo artists in the Southwest. In 2017, he started traveling and entering tattoo competitions all over the country. He now has well over 100 major tattoo awards and is universally acclaimed in the tattoo industry.
Prince developed his brand, Prince Art & Ink, in 2018, and the off-shoot clothing brand, Tilted Krown, shortly after. The clothing line has been a mainstay in the tattoo community, often being featured in mall stores and tattoo events. He is now known as Arizona’s premiere tattoo artist specializing in color photo realism and mind-blowing coverups. More recently, Prince has been spending his time working with troubled youth. He shares his story with them in hopes of encouraging them to stay on track in pursuit of their dreams.
